The dear hearts at Monkey Smashes Heaven have had just about enough of first world feminism.
For all the obvious reasons.
1. The contradiction between First World females and First World males is not antagonistic. First World females have, for the most part, are freed from traditional forms of patriarchal oppression. Like First World males, First World females enjoy a high degree of autonomy, a wide range of life options to pursue in their leisure time, access to imperial privileges, etc. First World males and First World females largely share the same culture and psychology. Whereas there are still differences between First World males and First World females, these differences are insignificant in the global scheme of things. First World males and First World females benefit from the global system of gender oppression.
2. The First World as a whole is your enemy. First World males and First World females are your enemy. Contradictions in individual First World nations are made less and less antagonistic due to the influx of super-profits. Contradictions that once seemed antagonistic have faded away within individual First World nations.

I’m a woman and I hate shopping. It’s a freaking chore, like washing dishes and mopping the floor. That women all love to spend money pamerpering themselves is a stereo-type. Most women I know wear the same old clothes until they are rags because they spend the money on their children’s needs instead of themselves.
Did your “wife” and mother of your daughter leave you? Did you deny paternity until it was proven? Are you so damaged that you can’t have a partner? Your interest in this garbage blog entry reveals your hatred of women. The post wherein you said you would have been willing to hire a whore, had you known they could be had so cheaply, further indicates your failure to recognize that women are human beings. Instead, you think they are to be used, paid (if you must), ignored and avoided.
How can you talk about injustices to ethnic groups while being supportive of gross stereo-types concerning half the population of the world, based on their gender? Do you only tolerate women who “know their place”? Will you teach your daughter that women are inferior? Will you deny her the money to get an education? If she works hard for far less money than the man doing the same work, will that be okay with you? If some man beats her, rapes her or murders her, just because he can, will you say she had it coming, just like the “co-ed” in North Carolina?

that picture on the right looks like my new job at Restoration Hardware in Santa Barbara, except they’d look even more wealthy and be wearing this certain type of sunglasses, tank-top sundresses, high heels, certain type of purse. In the evening the nightclubbers come out. The ruling class won and poor were defeated. During the day there’s a bunch of 27 year olds at restaurants with no obvious job. Hopefully the real estate or banking collapse will affect some of them. It is really a culture clash for me. I swear to god, people in Seattle read twice as much, because of the rain so they sit in cafes. Even Seattle’s free newsprint like The Stranger or Eat the State! has double the content.

Laurie, your getting side tracked with your spoiled way of thinking.
You and I and frankly all citizens of first world nations are to blame for the poverty and suffering much of these third world peoples experience.
Instead of trying to wage a war against other peoples customs and cultures like some stupid ethnocentric reactionary intent on judging everyone else, why don’t you focus on the real problem. not just the male or the female problem, but the HUMAN problem. The human problem that is super exploitation. The super exploitation you support so you can sit and bitch about not having underwear with holes in it, while most women, children, and men live in thid world nations with no underwear, no shirts, no electricity, no food, and no drinkable water.
Im tired of hearing spoiled assholes complain about only one side of the problem. Yes FGM is bad! Yes some aspects of the dowry system are bad! Its like you would look at a homeless couple who have no home and no food, and worry more about how that man talked to that woman instead of worrying that these people have nothing because of an oppressive institution that allows them to have nothing.
It’s cool you know how to use the internet and find cases of rape and murder and everything, but what relevance does that have to third world problems. I don’t see you discussing slave labor in the Asian continent, I don’t see you discussing Chicano women who are abducted for sex slavery in the United States. All your articles you produced, I could find ten fold instances where men kill men and men rape men. It’s a fucking social disease not a sexist one.
And a final point, most of the articles you produced stated a reason other than, oh this man killed this woman because he needs to be dominant. First off, Fred’s not the Scrunt’s “hubbie,” Sally. The Scunt IS “Fred.”
Secondly, assuming she actually has a husband, he doesn’t need a gun. He can always use an ax or a chainsaw to do the deed.

Have you read anything by Michael Albert of Z? He describes a unified field theory of aspects of political identity involving lots of orbs or spheres.

It’s his participatory economics idea. Some say it is boring. He first addresses how and why socialism failed, and also how different segments of the left disagree with each other over emphasis areas of social identity, and he offers a plan to deal with it all at once, and it involved a lot of computerized voting to decide what the economy should produce (rather than centralized planners) and everyone would have a job of equal empowerment (also decided by voting), and I think someone could get fired if their coworkers don’t like them.
Basically, both communism and free-market capitalism are famous for saying that class is the only factor which should count, and trying to push their system on everyone, regardless of whether a culture chooses it. Russel Means and Glenn Morris actually are great examples of a nation oriented view (not nation-state nationalist though), because they work on opposing forced integration of minority cultures in the U.S., and also traveled to Nicaragua when the sandinistas were trying to force the Miskitos to drop everything and become workers.
