That’s a nice celebratory video for the Supreme Court’s recent second amendment ruling.

off topic. But in an article in the Washington post, the writer made this statement. Isn’t this one of the two newspapers ‘of record’? How could he not come across the fact that that AIM has no popular support. How many members do they have now? If they are getting that wrong on such a well documented area of history, what are they getting wrong in breaking news put together from scarce sources.

“AIM is more severe in its critique of Means. In a press release, it has called him “clownish” and has taken pains to note that Means has “resigned from the American Indian Movement at least six (6) times, the latest on January 8, 1988.” No one from AIM would comment for this article.”

The writer is actually taking online questions tomorrow. Someone free at 12EST should ask him about some of the weirder lines in his article, or submit a question beforehand. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2008/06/26/DI2008062602418.html

OK, submitted about three questions about whether a newspaper should really call someone an assassin when they aren’t, whether Means personality has anything to do with the legal case of sovereignty for the Lakota area (much larger than current reservation), and whether he had looked up any information about AIM before writing the story, given that ‘NAIM’ is a well enough known concept that it garnered an acronym.
