Once upon a time we had a lunatic troll who went by the handle of Snapple. She claimed her daughter had been assaulted by a black bloc anarchist whose favorite authors were William S. Burroughs and Ward Churchill. As such, she dedicated herself to a lifetime of investigating the good Professor, and, after years of sleuthing, arrived at one shocking conclusion: Ward Churchill killed JonBenet Ramsey.
Anyways, considering the idea ludicrous to the point of satire, I encouraged her to lay out her theory in some detail for us.
And she came through.
You asked how SBTC might connect AIM to the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.
According to media reports, the author/s of the JonBenet Ramsey ransom note signed it “Victory! SBTC.”The author/s of this lengthy and agressive rant against America, the FBI, and the police claimed to be members of a “small foreign faction.”
This “small foreign faction” might refer to the Denver-Boulder faction of AIM. This organization is a faction of AIM and feuds with the Minneapolis AIM.
The Mount Rushmore area Internet is www.SBTC.net
According to published accounts, AIM bombed Mt Rushmore in the 1970s, so Mt Rushmore might be an important symbol for the author of “the mother of all ransom notes” as the Ramsey note has been characterized.
The author of the ransom note uses the rather erudite conjunctive adverb “hence.”
This usage is very characteristic of Ward Churchill’s writing and of CO-AIM documents.
Here is a link to the ransom note.
One might google ward+churchill+hence to see how often “hence” is used by Churchill.
In Churchill’s book “Acts of Rebellion,” the word “hence” was found on pages: xiv xvi xviii 9 20 47 49 60 73 78 85 90 108 113 120 133 152 175 199 200 202 214 239 251 254 270 284 291 295 328 335 374 376 392 393 412 413 430
In “Agents of Repression” by Churchill and Jim Vander Wall “hence” was found on pages: 10 13 25 31 99 105 110 116 193 209 256 311 321 324 335 348 391 397 413 441 452 458 463
Ward Churchill has demonstrated a physically agressive streak, even against females; and he certainly likes to write mean, agressive articles that gloat about violence against Americans.
He once boasted to the Denver Post that he taught terrorists how to make bombs, until they blew themselves up.
This evidence is not like having DNA, but it’s not total nonsense, either. AIM has used terrorist violence to achieve its goals, and Ward Churchill is their ideologue.
The tone and the themes in the ransom note are reminiscent of of “Some People Push Back.”
The ransom letter was addressed to John Ramsey. This is the same name as a famous white outlaw who murdered many Osage Indians during the “reign of terror” in the 1920s. In my opinion, the FBI documentation about the Osage “reign of terror” is the subtext for Churchill’s claims that 342 AIM activists were murdered by FBI-backed death squads during a “reign of terror” during the 1970s. The name John Ramsey would be very symbolic for AIM.
One of the FBI’s first big cases was the Osage Indian Murders. It was an early case that made the FBI famous. This case would be an object of special hatred for Ward Churchill because it shows that the FBI worked hard to bring justice to the Indians.
Ward Churchill only writes articles and books that paint the FBI as a secret police.
Obviously, if the FBI were a secret police who murdered 100s of its critics, they would have killed the author of the “Cointelpro Papers” a long time ago, but Ward Churchill is still walking around in Boulder and giving speeches everywhere.
After JonBenet Ramsey was strangled, bludgeoned, and sexually assaulted with a paintbrush handle, Boulder activists claimed that the government was protecting a ring of politically powerful pedophiles who had killed the little girl.
This theme is very reminiscent of the propaganda AIM makes about what happened at Pine Ridge, where Churchill has claimed that the government/FBI was protecting killers. Two lawyers who are close to Ward Churchill, Lee Hill and David Lane, were very active in this “protected pedophile” theory of the murder. But that is another long story.
Many people have speculated about the significance of the ransom amount. I googled ward+churchill+118,000 and found an article by an anonymous Maoist organization that defended Ward Churchill. The 118,000 figure in that article referred to Iraqi children in danger of dying from UN sanctions.
Here is that article:
JonBenet was murdered on Mao’s birthday, December 26, 1996.
You ask me why I am anonymous. It is because I think Ward Churchill is a terrorist, and I am afraid of him. I am not a scumbag. I am afraid of a communist terrorist. The terrorists are living among us, and they are not all Islamists, although they may share a hatred of the United States.
Even though we have terrorists, I am still going to say what I think. I am going to have that free speech that Ward Churchill claims that George Bush is taking away. If you ask me, it is Ward Churchill the terrorist who wants to take away my free speech.
I guess if Ward Churchill can have the free speech to write about the alleged terrorist murders of 342 Indians by FBI-backed death squads, then I should have the same free speech to write about the terrorism I see. And it isn’t coming from the FBI.
Snapple, I also want your free speech. Had I the money, ma’am, I’d pay for full-page ads in every local newspaper for you to disseminate your lunacy. I’d rather like it if the world saw you as the archetype of Churchill’s critics: a dribbling moron, so deranged that she can’t find a single listener in the entire blogosphere who doesn’t think she’s categorically insane; a monomaniac who spends her every waking hour obsessing over a dead six-year-old and an American Indian scholar in some kind of incredible necrophilic Eldridge Cleaver fantasy.
In that interest, I’ll even share a link to your blog, so Try-Works readers can encounter your full glory: http://www.legendofpineridge.blogspot.com/
Enjoy.
